Over the weekend I had my first houseguest! :D Brittany came down from Brooklyn for a (much-loved) visit. Seriously, it is so exciting to be on the same coast as her and within easy travel distance. We've spent the majority of the last few years on opposite coasts or in different countries.

this morning it was snowing/sleeting when i had to go to work. okay, so it's only like a 5 minute walk, but sleet is just not cool. then it tapered off to just rain. and it's still raining. which means it's gray and gloomy. which kind of matches my mood. meh. i hope the rain lets up a bit before i have to go back out to work again tonight.
